What a wonderful piece to sit on your sewing table or on your vanity. So very lovely. This Make-Do is made of vintage quilt fabric in wonderful soft browns and beiges. The cone is attached to a unique glass base and tied with a beige ribbon where the two meet. And you certainly don't have to be a seamstress to adore this unique piece....how about using it to display those beautiful hat or lapel pins you have hidden away in the drawer? How nice to be able to enjoy them everyday. This piece measures 15" tall and 5" wide at the bottom on base. Nicol has adorned this pincushion with an antiqued tag with the words, "Think of Me" written in her beautiful script and two pins which hold various buttons. Her signature tag is sewn on the front bottom left of the cone. This original was obtained through a private collection. SOLD.
